Late pick up fees
S.T.A.R.S. is closed at 6:00 PM. This means your child is signed out and exiting the building by 6:00 PM. Please be considerate of our staff and their obligations. Fees will be billed to your Brightwheel account to be due the following day. If you pick up your child more than 10 minutes late on three or more occasions, we have the right to terminate your child's enrollment with S.T.A.R.S.

late payments
Regular tuition payments are due in advance by Friday of the previous week. Drop-in, additional session, late pick up fees & program-add ons are due the following day. A $10 late fee will be added to any late balance. If the payment has not been paid by Sunday at 6:00 PM, your child will be unable to attend before care on Monday. Fees must be current by 6:00 PM of any weekday for your child to be admitted into before care the following day. Fees must be current by 2:00 PM of any weekday for your child to be admitted into after care. If your child is on our suspension list at 2:00 PM and is not picked up from school by 3:45 p.m., they will be sent to S.T.A.R.S. as late pick up students and fees of $5 per 10 minutes will incur until your arrival. This fee, in addition to your tuition, will be due before your child can return to care. In the event that we do not have school on any given Friday, your payment is still due.

Discounts
Deduct 10% of your child's tuition if you are a Keystone Academy, Canton Charter Academy, South Arbor Charter Academy or Plymouth Scholars Employee. For sibling discounts, the 1st child is at full price, each additional child will receive a 10% discount. Sibling discount applies to the lower paying child's rate. Discounts are not applicable to drop-ins, additional sessions, or flex schedules.

dhs payments
Clients participating in the DHS scholarship program must pay tuition in advance. DHS will be billed at the end of each billing period, once we receive a payment from DHS you will receive a credit on your account in the amount issued to us. If the DHS payment covers more than the upcoming two weeks, a refund for out of pocket fees will be issued back to the original payment method. Please note that DHS payments are typically received 3-4 weeks after services are provided and you should prepare to cover your child’s tuition during that timeframe. You are responsible for submitting your child’s Provider Verification to DHS so we have access to billing for them in the CDC portal. Payments received from DHS are not eligible to be paid to the parent in the event that all of the funds are not used. DHS funds are only to be used for regularly scheduled child care and cannot be applied towards late fees or late pick up fees. DHS funds are not transferable between accounts and will only be applied to the child’s account that is eligible for funding. Fees & Payment plans
Fees are due in advance and payable no later than Friday of the previous week. Your contracted fee is due regardless of child's attendance. Payments can be made to S.T.A.R.S. online through mybrightwheel.com or via your Brightwheel app. We do not accept cash, check or card payments on-site for tuition.
