Late pick up fees
S.T.A.R.S. is closed at 6:00 PM. This means your child is signed out and exiting the building by 6:00 PM. Please be considerate of our staff and their obligations. Fees will be billed to your Brightwheel account to be due the following day. If you pick up your child more than 10 minutes late on three or more occasions, we have the right to terminate your child's enrollment with S.T.A.R.S.

late payments
A late fee will be added to each account with a remaining tuition balance on Saturday. If your account is still not paid by 6:00 PM on Sunday, your child will not be admitted into before care on Monday morning. For after care, tuition must be current by 3:00 PM of any given day.

Discounts
Deduct 10% of your child's tuition if you are a Keystone Academy, Canton Charter Academy, South Arbor Charter Academy or Plymouth Scholars Employee. For sibling discounts, the 1st child is at full price, each additional child will receive a 10% discount. Sibling discount applies to the lower paying child's rate. Discounts are not applicable to drop-ins, additional sessions, or flex schedules.

dhs payments
Clients utilizing the DHS payment assistance program must pay tuition in advance. DHS will be billed at the end of each billing period, once we receive a payment from DHS, it will be added as a credit to your account. If there is a surplus in funds, we will issue a refund for the fees already paid. Please note that DHS payments are typically received 3-4 weeks after services are provided.

Fees & Payment plans
Fees are due in advance and payable no later than Friday of the previous week. Your contracted fee is due regardless of child's attendance. Payments can be made to S.T.A.R.S. online through mybrightwheel.com or via your Brightwheel app. We do not accept cash, check or card payments on-site for tuition.
